Edit: Apparently it was a Photoshop done by /V/ who likes to do this on a regular basis with Hernandez's stuff due to some of the other whacky but not this retarded content she posts. Anyone who said kotaku was in the right area though.

Didn't you yourself say that you tried to read Jezebel until you simply couldn't take it anymore? I'm not opposed to feminism (or as I think you would be identified better, equalism) but Jezebel is not often filled with legitimate articles so much as it is just corporate sponsored, man-hating, shit stirring.

I don't read Jezebel's main page, not because of the reasons you listed, but because it's a glorified gossip column (offering money for unaltered celeb photos?? really?) and whenever they do have something worth reading, one of the sites I frequent will link it. Their oppo-equivalents are good though.

I like to think I'm a capable writer, especially for an engineer who has only taken one course since high school that required non-technical writing. I did well in my high school AP Lang and US/Euro history courses, FWIW.

That was a long time ago, like 2008 or so. It went poorly.

Since then there have been multiple instances of bad blood back and forth, mostly between commenters, but some times spilling over to the author level.

There were bannings, cursing, and general finger wagging. Now it's generally accepted that we should try to operate in two distinct vacuums, or suffer random deletions . That was a thread I put on oppo that had 30+ comments before it was deemed too racy.
